Cashback Portals

Cashback portals are websites that get paid an affiliate commission when you shop, and share most of it back with you. Rakuten, TopCashback, Swagbucks, and Capital One Shopping cover thousands of major retailers with rates that range from 1% up to 10%+ on promotional days.

How it works

  1. 01.

Create a free account with a portal like Rakuten or TopCashback.

  2. 02.

Before shopping at any covered retailer, click through the portal link (or use its browser extension) to activate tracking.

  3. 03.

Complete checkout as normal, paying with your usual cashback credit card so both rewards stack.

  4. 04.

Cashback posts to the portal account 30–90 days after purchase and pays out by check, PayPal, or gift card.

Best for

Anyone who shops online at big-box, apparel, travel, or department-store retailers — portals stack cleanly on top of credit card rewards.

Watch out

Tracking can fail if another browser extension or ad blocker overrides the affiliate cookie. Disable coupon extensions right before clicking through.
